Mary Regina holds a Master’s of Science (MS) in Clinical Nutrition, and a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) with an emphasis in health care management.  She worked for over 20 years as a nutrition consultant for the state of North Carolina, assisting with community nutrition programs in the western part of the state.  Mary Regina brings a rich variety of experience to her work as an independent health consultant, with skills that span traditional and nontraditional disciplines. Mary Regina has been in private practice since 1996, offering: Reiki sessions, and other intuitive energy healing sessions Training for Reiki practitioners in both Usui and Karuna® Reiki Life skills enhancement through hypnotherapy, past life regression, flower essence therapy Counseling for individuals and small groups on weight management, smoking cessation and nutrition

Personal Philosophy

I came from a traditional medical family – my mother was a nurse and both my father and brother were doctors – and I myself have devoted many years of my professional life to work as a dietitian and nutritionist, sometimes working within a rather traditional environment.

When I got very sick years ago, traditional medicine failed. It was only through nontraditional treatment – especially acupuncture and Chinese herbs and medicine – that I began to recover my health. I soon realized that the whole experience was leading me in a different direction in my life when I was able to help a friend who was suffering from a severe migraine. When she said to me, "You have a healing touch," everything began to fall into place, and I realized a new mission in life.

Soon afterward I discovered the wonderful power of Reiki, a special kind of healing touch, and embarked on extensive training. I have been practicing and teaching Reiki since 1996. Around that same time I also received training in Past Life Regression, followed by further training and national certification in hypnosis. Later heart centered intuition manifested and I began intuitive energy healing in combination with Reiki.  Intuitive energy healing comes from the Sacred Divine Source and is individualized for each client.

I still value and use my expertise in nutrition to help clients lose weight and establish a good base for physical health, but it is with the addition of alternative therapies that I feel I am really helping the whole person.  All of the disciplines I use work together and complement each other. Good nutrition helps build a strong body and supports good health. Hypnotherapy reinforces the individual plan and gives people the motivation they need to succeed. Flower essences promote healing in more subtle ways, on the mental and emotional level.  Reiki helps people relax that so that the other therapies will be more effective. Intuitive Energy Healing can help the individual to release present and past life experiences, energy, emotions and blockages that may be manifesting as disease or slowing down life progress.

It is a joy to be an Instrument of the Divine healing energy helping individuals remember and attract balance and health.  I hope to share this joy with you as you find love, health and well being. If our hearts lead us to connect, it will be a joy to facilitate your awareness of the love within.
