Reiki/Intuitive Energy Healing
Reiki (pronouced RAY-kee), a natural holistic energy therapy that has existed for over 2500 years, is an easy to learn form of energy healing that compliments and enhances medical practices and therapies. 

Most levels of Reiki can be learned in one day. All Reiki classes taught by Mary Regina include; a manual and certificate  of completion. CEU’s and health professional licensure hours are available to  graduates of all Reiki classes that Mary Regina teaches at the Mountain Area  Health Education Center.  CLICK HERE for a schedule and information on  Reiki classes taught at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC). The best results occur when the practitioner and client relax and surrender trusting guidance from the Sacred Universal Source and knowing that the Reiki energy will function as needed. Although Reiki/Intuitive Energy Healing sessions are usually conducted in person, they can be done remotely.  Healing energy can be transmitted over space and time; distance healings are very effective.


 A Reiki/Intuitive Energy Healing Session
A trained Reiki/Intuitive Energy Healing Practitioner places hands on or near the client’s body and channels the Reiki energy. The client remains clothed throughout. The energy flows to the client’s area(s) of need through the practitioner’s hands without any conscious effort or direction on the part of the practitioner or client. Some clients even fall asleep!

As an Instrument of the Source of Divine Energy, the practitioner may receive guidance to treat specific areas of the physical and energy bodies. As the practitioner acts on this guidance, the session becomes individualized to the needs and condition of the client. The more the practitioner and client relax and surrender to the Divine, the better the results.

Reiki Training
Usui Reiki, the most common form of Reiki practiced in the U.S., was named after Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese scholar and spiritual teacher who revived the ancient principles of Reiki in the 19th century.  Karuna ® Reiki (the word 'karuna' means compassionate action) is a form of additional in-depth Reiki training for Usui Reiki practitioners.

Anyone who learns Reiki from a Reiki Master and has a sincere desire to learn Reiki can become a Reiki Practitioner.  Channeling Reiki offers many benefits to the practitioner including an opportunity to:

  • Improve the relationship with the Divine
  • Combine Reiki with other healing modalities and in all aspects of life
  • Become more peaceful and calm
  • Receive Reiki healing while sharing the healing benefits of Reiki with others

Mary Regina is an Usui Reiki Master, a Registered Karuna ® Reiki Master, and a Reiki Tummo Practitioner. She is registered with the International Center for Reiki Training, and has been teaching Reiki professionally since 1996. She has instructed over 300 students with class sizes ranging from 1 to 26.

Mary Regina offers the following group or customized individualized classes:
Reiki Certifications:  Usui Reiki I, II, III, Master/Teacher
Reiki Registration:  Karuna® Reiki Practitioner/Master/Teacher*
*Karuna® Reiki class graduates become registered through the International Center for Reiki Training as Karuna® Reiki Practitioners and Karuna® Reiki Master/Teacher.

Reiki workshops are presented over the course of a two-day weekend in Asheville, NC, an area rich with cultural, spiritual and alternative healing opportunities. The mountains of western North Carolina are also a beautiful vacation spot any time of year.
